There is a little lighthouse located within Hat Head national park, just east of South West Rocks on the New South Wales north coast. It was designed and built towards the end of the 19th century. Designed by James Barnet and built by convicts incarcerated at the nearby Trial Bay gaol, in Arakoon. It was one of the last lighthouse built for architectural excellence. There's a little Bed and Breakfast that also runs tours. It's a great little piece of Australian history that's open and welcomes visitors from all around.
